Well he is more mobile than Kitna and Orvlosky put together.

I haven't been keeping up too much due to me in Florida.
Whats up with Stanton?

He can run and pass.
He's our future QB.
I think we should have let him start atleast 1 game..

Isn't it a little weird to sign someone on a Saturday?

Culpepper is garbage, a useless investment for a team that should already be figuring out who's going #1 in the 2009 NFL draft.

I don't think Stanton will ever be the starting QB for us. Dan-O isn't playing bad right. He's getting better each game imo.

Screw Culpepper, we're gettin Vick when he comes out of jail. lol

He's better then Kitna.

He has potential too. It's our coaches that are <Censored>ty, they don't know how to balance Kevin Smith and Rudi Johnson. Smith is way better then Rudi and Rudi is getting more PT.

Well in the Bears game he over thrown or under threw the recivers so much.

He was either really good or really bad. Culpepper is worth a shot. Plus I think Orvlosky is injured for a few weeks. I read it somewher.

Well word was that they were gonna sign Monday, and that's today. So my assumption is he's officially the starting QB, probably after week 10.

No his thumb is fine, well it's strained.

He had 8 completions in a row I think. He threw 2 int's. One it look like it was gonna be a touchdown to Calvin Johnson but the safety came out of nowhere to pick it. The first one was because of the <Censored>ty field Calvin could've broken it up but he slipped.

Lions quarterback Dan Orlovsky sustained a strained thumb in his throwing had on the first play of Sunday’s 27-23 loss at Chicago, but he said the injury did not affect his performance and he took a painkiller at halftime.

Orlovsky is wearing a removable cast on his hand and is considered day-to-day. He said he had “zero” doubt that he could play Sunday when the Lions host Jacksonville.

But citing unidentified sources, foxsports.com reported that Orlovsky will miss "the next few weeks, and perhaps even longer," because of the injury.
Either way, Culpepper is going to start lol.

Orlovsky > Culpepper

Orlovsky > Jon Kitna

The guy has played what??? four games or so. Give it some time. Expect too much too soon. I don't see Culpepper taking them any further.

I don't see the point in adding Culpepper. We're 0-8 and might have a future QB in Dan-O. Then you bring in a 31 year old QB who hasn't done <Censored> since 04. Maybe with Calvin he can produce some what decent, but I don't think he will.
