Police reportedly went to the home of Isiah Thomas early Friday morning responding to a report that he overdosed on sleeping pills, according to New York Post.

"I'm not going to confirm or deny this," Police Chief David Hall told the Post. "Were we there? Yes. But I'm not going to tell you who it is."

Barry Watkins, vice president of communications for Madison Square Garden, told the Journal News that "Isiah is fine."

Maybe stressed out, or thinking about stuff, perhaps?

You just left a comment...So much for that no comment...lol

Well right now, he doesn't have a job (for coaching) he failed miserably with the Knicks and i think D'Antoni is going to be the same. They're just a <Censored> team that no one can turn around.

:umm:

I like how they can tell you what kind of sleeping pills (Not in that stub, but I saw it on CNN), but not who it is. >_>

Not saying it's him basically confirms it.

I hope he's makes a full recovery and gets off those pills.

As for Dr Aj's comment, we'll be turned around soon enough, our play during this pre-season has been the best Ive seen in years. Most of you are too young to remember our glory days.

Not true, I think they're headed in the right direction at this point.

More News...

A police chief likened the conflicting accounts of an accidental overdose at Isiah Thomas' home to a "cover-up".

Thomas said on Saturday that it was his teenage daughter that need medical treatment early Friday.

"It wasn't his daughter," Harrison Police Chief David Hall said. "And why they're throwing her under the bus is beyond my ability to understand."

Authorities were called to Thomas' Westchester County home, where police said a 47-year-old man was taken and treated for an overdose of sleeping pills.

Several media outlets reported that police confirmed it was Thomas, 47, who went to the hospital.

Reached on his cell phone Friday, Thomas told the New York Post he had not been treated for a sleeping pill overdose, and that it was his daughter.

It "wasn't an overdose," he told the newspaper. "My daughter is very down right now. None of us are OK."
He probably did it in order to keep his chances of coaching again open... still dont agree with it though
