Adam Morrison got about $5 million richer Wednesday and -- at least by the technicalities of NBA rules -- a little easier to trade. The Charlotte Bobcats exercised contract options for next season on Morrison ($5.257 million) and Jared Dudley ($1.307 million). Had the Bobcats not exercised those options by Oct. 31, both would have become unrestricted free agents in July. Also, not exercising that option would have given Morrison veto power, should the Bobcats seek to trade him. He is playing under a one-year option, in the third season of his rookie-scale contract. Morrison, the third pick in the 2006 draft, said he wasn't surprised the Bobcats exercised the option, and he won't be surprised if he or another wing player is traded.

Remember when everyone claimed he was "the next Larry Bird" lol

I can say fans here in Charlotte have forgotten about Ammo, if he steps onto the court you'll get "Oh I forgot that guy plays for us"

Hopefully they do decide to move him, he could be a solid contributor to another team.

Kind of forgot about him.

Does he still sport that cluster of pubic hair on his top lip?

Unfortunately.... yes.

It would have been ok for the guy to come in at the level he was expected (role player, teams sharp shooter) but people thought and claimed he was the next great thing. When CLEARLY he only excelled in shooting.

He isnt a scorer, defense isnt worth a dime, no athlectic ability at all, etc... All he does is shoot. You can get away with it in college, but in the NBA thats not going to get you far, unless he's a role player.

I want him to go somewhere where he will be able to show what he's got. I still think he can live up to the lottery pick hype.

I'd take him, and he could be a pretty good scorer off the bench.
