Is Bengals starting tailback Chris Perry about to get benched in favor of Cedric Benson or Kenny Watson? Sure sounds like it. Perry rushed 11 times for 14 yards (1.3) with a long gain of four yards. "We're going to look at all that," head coach Marvin Lewis said in the aftermath of the Bengals' 26-14 loss to the New York Jets. "We need to look at it and take a hard look, and see what's the best thing for us to go forward. It's a combination of things. I'm not going to sit here and elaborate much on it now. We've got to do better. It's not good enough."

Do you guys know who Eric Ghiaciuc, Stacy Andrews, Bobbie Williams, Andrew Whitworth, and Levi Jones are?

The Bengals offensive line. Most should know who Jones is, hell he was just drafted not too long ago, and maybe Andrews too.

Ultimately, this front five is terrible as a unit.

'Nuff said.

I am a huge fan of having great offensive lines - but Chris Perry would struggle to get 1000 yards with any line. A good line certainly helps, but there's also a time when the back has to get yards because of him, not the people around him (ex: Frank Gore)

Agreed.
I think Benson will be nice starter for that team.
Bengals just suck and Chris Wells will be there RB soon.

You know you suck when you are getting benched in favor of Cedric Benson.

Bench the whole team. Let the backups play. Maybe they'll do better.

Ryan Fitzpatrick?? C'mon put in Jordan Palmer. What do we got to lose at this point!?

If the Bengals SOMEHOW i don't know how at this point beat the Steelers i'll be the happiest person on this board Sunday. I'll feel like we've accomplished at least one thing with this pathetic worst team in Bengals franchise/history.

Yankee, a Running Back can't pick up any yards if his offensive line can't give him holes. If they bench him, anyone else you put in will struggle.

Sorry Palmer...but the Bengals just don't matter in the NFL.

They came close once upon a time...but left a guy by the name of Joe Montana too much time on the clock.

I think it's safe to say that this team is light years away from an NFL title.

Progressively getting worse before every getting better.

He would if he had a team to back him up which he DOES NOT! I won't take any offense because i know they got a lot of work to do and it won't happen in a short amount of time. Hopefully the Saints pull something out for me at least.

He's right, this team has a lot more issues to worry about than Carson Palmer. The guy's got potential still, but keep in mind that his horrible season to this point has been plagued with injuries. And right when he was looking to be finally turning it around - SLOWLY!, slightly, but it was changing vs. the Giants, when he got injured. I still have a little bit of hope, but if he comes back 100% healthy and cant perform, then Ill grab the axe off my Dept's Ladder Truck.
