Roy Williams has supposedly been traded to the Cowboys for a 1st, 3rd and 6th round pick according to NFL Live. Can't find a link at the moment.

The Lions have traded WR Roy Williams to the Cowboys for a first, third and sixth round pick. The Cowboys also receive a seventh-round pick from the Lions in 2009.

On top of that, Roy is on his last year and will be expecting a HUGE contract at the end of the season. Stupid Cowgirls.

I would LMAO if he bolts to FA after this season and they traded all that for a WR who will play 10 more weeks for them. Or maybe they won't have enough money to re-sign him? idk.

Good trade for Lions either way. They got a lot for him...

Yeah, it's nice to have ourselves 2 first rounder this year already.

Any difference without Millen? I think so.

Dallas Morning News reported that the Lions will receive Dallas' first-, third- and sixth-round picks in 2009. Along with Williams, the Cowboys also received a 7th round pick from Detroit.

Bad move by the Cowboys and at a bad time. Sure it's nice to add another Pro-Bowler to the line-up but c'mon...is Dallas' passing game the problem here?

If your going to give up half of your 2009 draft picks, why not go out and acquire another DB? Sh*t Newman is out for a while...Pacman is now suspended indefinitely...and their defensive secondary has been horrible with stopping other teams.

You also know that T.O...a guy who is already b*tching he doesn't get the ball enough...is really going to look for a more reasons to gripe in that locker room. Being that he is all about himself, Owens will see this move as a personal threat him and his job.

Like it or not, T.O. just became the #2. Why? Because Williams is more sure-handed than T.O. is.

I think it's pretty unwise of Jerry Jones to give up that much of a future just to add to something that isn't even a problem with your team.

Given what we have seen from Patrick Crayton, I really don't think he is all that bad of a #2 guy as it is.

I'm sure Cowboys' fans are excited about this...but they will see soon enough just how costly of a move this is going to be in the long run.

Too much for Roy Williams

But even though I hate the Cowboys with a passion, this is definently a move that should scare the rest of the league...

But the way things are going for the Cowboys, and Romo's injury, Im not worried about it. SOmeone above said how does TO feel, that remains to be seen. I dont think the move will have to much of an effect until towards the last few weeks in the season. Romo has to create a relationship on the field with Williams, and now TO too?

It could go either way, a great move or the worst decision the Cowboys made since.... Pacman?

Yes because Pacman isn't all that great of a cover-guy to begin with. Pacman hadn't done much in his 1 full season of NFL play, other than returning punts. Overrated coming out of West Virginia and can't stay out of trouble.

What will be good is if Brad Johnson comes in and ends up with a better chemistry to Roy Williams...as opposed to Owens.

Oh how ironic would it be if Williams comes in and forces TO out.

Cowboys scared me at the beginning of the season. They seemed like the most complete team. But this just to show how important chemistry and being a team is.

Anxious to see how all of this plays out... Too many ego's on the team.

T.O. needs to quit or retire or something. I'm sick of hearing him run his mouth about not getting the ball enough when he's getting thrown at 20 times a game. He's just another Chad Johnson. Distraction to the team. I wish both of them would just quit.

You guys do know we had 13 picks something like that already, so why is this a bad move now we have 11 picks!

Yeah this is a bad move LMAO! Only the haters are saying this because, you know the Cowboys offense will be explosive like hell right now.
