Manning job isnt to impress, its to manage the game. And he's doing a great job, we have too many weapons on offense to focus on Eli and have him make every play.
Very well put dez.

Even the most athletically non-gifted NFL quarterbacks have been perennial All-Pros because of their ability to manage a game.

Joe Montana was a perfect example.

I think Eli has managed the game better than the other 2.

Eli and Ben have good wide-outs around them but Philip doesn't have that great of a wide-outs like Eli and Ben do and is still putting up same or better numbers then both of them, so I'm going with Philip.

If he has been putting up the same or better numbers then why does Ben have a Pro Bowl apearance and he doesnt?

Philip Rivars does have a Pro Bowl appearance. And it was before Ben ever got one!

All good, Philip is good man he puts up numbers and he only has Antonio Gates. While Eli has Plexico, Amani, had Jeremy, other dudes also. And Ben has Ward, Holmes, Miller, other dudes also. Philip doesn't have that elite wide-out like Steelers and Giants have. Give him that he would probably tear it up.

im not talking about one year. Im saying, to this point, who has shown to be the better overall QB. I think now, we've seen Eli take hold of this offense, he's finally become a leader, has established trust in all his receivers, and I wouldnt be surprised to see him in Pro Bowl this year.

Dude...not only does Rivers have the best pass-catching TE in the league but he has Chambers and Jackson to throw to. Chambers put up some monster numbers in 2005 & is still top notch WR. Did you happen to see what Jackson is capable of yesterday? 134 yards receiving and a TD against NE's defense. At 6'5", Jackson is a monster of a target when it comes to the red zone.

Just because Rivers' wideouts under achieve at times...doesn't mean he doesn't have talented and athletic guys to throw to. If anything, Eli is at the disadvantage. Aside from Plaxico, Eli doesn't have any prime, All-Pro's to throw the ball to. Amani Toomer's best days are behind him, Shockey is gone, and guys like Tyree, Smith, and Dixon are all babies in this league...none better than slot guys or #4 options.

Big Ben definitely has the best tandem of wideouts...I would say. Hines Ward is a straight up possession guy, Holmes is a legit deep threat, and Miller has great hands, gets downfield in a hurry.

Just to tell you. You do know Chris Chambers came to San Diego in 2007 and played 10 games with 35 catches and 555 yards, and in 2005 that was is golden career highlight year, from there he sucked. And Jackson is nothing special Amani Toomer is better then him. So I don't know whats your point, Chargers wide-outs are nothing compared to the Giants wide-outs.

To say Amani Toomer is better then Chambers is ridiculous.

Like AE said his best days are behind him, he still does a very good job at what he does, but he isnt a Chris Chambers. The reason he has yet to do anything is becasue he just came to the Chargers last year, had to adjust to the offense and he's been hurt this year. Give him some time.

We have Plax, Toomer, Steve Smith, Sinorice Moss and thats it. Hixon is nothing special, Tyreeis a bum, The only catch Ive seen him make was "The Catch" in the SB, he drops everything.

Chargers have Chambers, Gates, Jackson (who has had glimpses of becoming a dangerous reciever since last year)

If anything their equal.

i think Amani's better than both of them. When they need a big 3rd down conversion, and he happens to be on the field, Toomer's the guy Eli goes to. 2 years ago, Giants we're doing great offensively, until Toomer got injured. Then Eli had no vet out there that he had confidence in. Toomer's still a great receiver, he's just older and Eli concentrates on his younger receivers more.

Plus, since when was Chambers a great WR. I havent seen him do jack.

Again...underachieving WR's does not make them bad WR's. Look at how young Chambers, Vincent, and Gates are...how fast they are...their freaking height difference.

Much more talented group.

But we are talking about an offense that revolves around LT and the run game. It's no surprise that SD typically doesn't post the same stats through the air that the Giants or Steelers do week to week.
