Also some people smoke for fun, because it enhances everything.

As much as I disagree with what he said - I'm thankful that he has the opportunity and freedoms to say something like this, to say what he wants. I disagree 100%, and think he is a <Censored>ing moron, but at the same time I'm thankful that this country has the freedoms for him to say something that stupid if he pleases.

And just because "1/4 of the country, or 3/4 of the board" are doing it (both are false statistics, by the way), doesn't mean that smoking weed isn't stupid. Although you may not think it, it is very dangerous, illegal, and just has no benefits really. It's not like any of your lives are that bad that you need to take weed to escape reality or anything... Quite frankly, if you have a computer and you are allowed to regularly use it, just by that I can tell that your life is good enough that you don't need to use weed to enhance it. I can understand if you were poor, got beaten by your parents, and had no friends, but I doubt that is the case for anyone here.

In all seriousness, I think the way the American national anthem is treated is a joke to be honest. Now before you go off at me, everytime I have seen it performed, the artist makes it this huge theatrical performance, trying to go as high as possible, putting in key changes and all this <Censored>. The message is great and all that, but it gets treated like a pop song. In Australia, it is sung, normally, the crowd sings along, with actual genuine passion. Do not misinterpret anything I said.

As for drugs and <Censored>, if you have to take drugs to make your life more enjoyable, you shouldn't bother living in the first place, thats just my harsh opinion I guess. Josh Howard, is getting paid millions, to play sport, and it is a sport, that I assume he loves. I bet he has made heaps of good friends, improved his well being...so why bother <Censored>ing taking drugs???

Without truely experience it, you are talking out of your ass. Really I don't need to enhance my life as a total, but if I'm going to go see a movie, I rather have a more entertaining experience. Also Weed has never directly killed anyone, but Alcohol, Cigarettes, and over the counter drugs kill everyday.

it might not cause death to the person doing the drugs directly, but it does cause deaths. All those have to be in excess or over a long period of time.

that's why companies will not allow drug users for operating heavy machinery, those high on weed have slower reactions while driving a car (deaths have happened from this). what about Newborn deaths from mothers who use?

like anything else, it's always the "morons" who ruin it for everyone else. I understand some, like yourself, only do it casually away from others. Unfortunately, the morons do not and with marijuana's quick alter of judgement and motor skills, effects others.
