im not saying im celebrating, I'm saying that since we knew he WENT DOWN not knowing the seriousness of his injury, but just knowing he got injured, it gave Jets fans a lot of confidence in knowing that they had an even better chance of getting the Playoffs. THey've come a long way in the last 2 months, and after their terrible season last year, they're willing to take anything. Don't get celebration and increased odds of success mixed up.

Plus a lot of people, including me, dont like the Patriots so I feel like their whole quest to be the greatest team ever, to have all that glory etc. rather than just play the game is what brought this on. I dont like them, they cheated last year, this is the punishment they get...

Hopefully he really is out for the season.
that's not wishing harm on him?

aww boo freakin who...you don't like them. Poor excuse, actually not an excuse at all. It's just stupid, IMO. Look, I detest the Yankees at times but I don't want any of their guys to get hurt. How is this any different? Also, this is their punishment? Not losing their "perfect" season to an, on paper, weaker team after going 18-0? No, losing their MVP to a serious injury is their punishment for stealing some freakin signals...give me a break.

Patriots are a good enough team that they will still be in the race for the division. I'm not sold on the Jets, but I would love it if the Bills could win the division. Nobody would've of guessed before the season that the Bills would win the division if they can pull it off.

DIVINE PUNISHMENT - A supernatural punishment usually directed towards all or some portions of humanity after a wrong doing.

This is their suffering. Next time, don't cheat.

How is that not being excited about him being injured?

I'm not excited for the injures... I'm excited for the epic fail that New England's season will be.

Well, Cassell is a good QB. I thought they'd go after Culpepper, but they decided not to. Cassell knows every play, and has been watching after an MVP in Tom Brady. So don't dou bt Pats out of the Superbowl yet. 1 out of 11 guys on offense were hurt. So the 10 other guys are still there. And Brady didn't win the 'Ship by himself.

Put in the perfect words

Yeah that 1 guy out of the 11 turns out to be the MVP of the league, so it's more then 1 guy. You take out the key piece of that offensive, I really don't think they are a superbowl team without their key player.

For one we have seen Moss can become ineffective without a good quarterback, and really I don't know about Cassell. I can't say because the guy hasn't started since high school. But no matter who it is replacing Brady (unless it's Manning), it's a HUGE step down. So if Cassell can't lead the team, who is? Maroney is no where near ready for that, and their defense isn't good enough to completely shut down some of the AFC teams. So they will be lucky to get through the Colts or the Chargers.

Matt Cassell hasn't been a starter since High School, don't say he's good when he's thrown 57 passes in 4 years.

Brady is simply unreplaceable (like JH5 said unless you have Peyton). The whole offense changes with him out. Like JH5 said again, who will lead the team? Brady didn't win the 'ship by himself, nobody did, because they didn't win it last year....

The loss of Samuel in the offseason and Brady in Week 1 is way too much for them to overcome, have fun not making the playoffs.

Yeah I meant the last 3 wins. And if there is any QB knows the Pats offense as good as Brady, its Cassel. No other QB has been in the system in the last 4 years, besides Cassel and Brady.

The Patriots are not the best team in the NFL.

Well to me they are. And what other team has gone and won 18 games in one season?

That was last year. None of that matters now, especially when your MVP is out for the season.

If Kobe Bryant was out for the year, how good would the Lakers do? I think the same analogy applies.
