I don't see why everyone has such a big thing against bumping older topics... if anyhting we should feel kind of flattered older topics are still looked at.

I'm assuming you posted your result here for CnC, I'll start off with this. The canvas is waaaay too big, make that smaller next time. But your result does look a lot like what it should and that's good. But this style is waay out dated, but old tuts like this help you learn the basics so keep trying.

Like Pugz said - if you add gradients, stocks, and filters, you can develop the BG even more to give it a really good depth. you have the flow of color, now just work on the depth
