Suns' point guard Steve Nash is skeptical of the team's plan to rest him more this season, according to East Valley Tribune.

Phoenix General Manager Steve Kerr plans to rest Nash more this season, perhaps limiting him to 70 games in 2008-09.

"We’ll see how it goes," Nash said upon hearing of Kerr's plan. "Those are great intentions, but is it realistic? We’ll see."

Nash played in 81 of 82 games last season, and while he's open to the idea of resting more, he seems to believe that 70 is a low number.

Thats stupid, you don't rest an MVP 20+ games and expect to get in the playoffs in the Western Conference.

They CAN but I don't think they're in the position to rest him alot in that division

It would only be 10-12 games. But like PM7 said, they're not in that position anymore to play without him like that.

Oh my bad. Lol I'm still in my last few days of summer.

But still, we all know what happened when Nash got hurt in the regular season before and missed some games. They lost almost every game they were without him. The Suns can't afford to possibly lose an extra 5-10 games.
