Teams Can Now Sign Iranians

NBA teams have been cleared to negotiate with Iranians, meaning that coveted center Hamed Ehadadi can sign with a team, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The league sent out an email to executives late Wednesday afternoon informing teams they were free to enter into negotiations with the 7-foot-2 Iranian, as well as teammate guard Mohammadsamad Nik Khahbahrami.

Just five days ago, the NBA informed its general managers that they were forbidden to enter into negotiations with Ehadadi, pending a license from the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control

Imagine seeing Mohammadsamad Nik Khahbahrami in the NBA. His jersey would be nuts, so would the announcers pronouncing that.

This article is wrong though, his name is Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami, but I guess he is known as Samad Nikkhah?
