my computer is so fukked.
spyware took it over. i'm lucky i could even write this message right now.
idk how i got it, but i think its from Limewire. I'm getting a new laptop soon (i already ordered it, should be coming in the next few weeks)
i think i have to put the computer down. that means i will have to lose all of my PS stuff
oh well. just thought i'd let you guys know where i am because you wont be seeing me as often for like a couple weeks, though i am optimistic it will be sooner

It's peer 2 peer sharing. It depends if you trust the other person that uploaded the file.

as long as you get/have AVG your fine. AVG is the best virus software I've had.
I went through 2 computers before i got AVG, now I've had this pc for like 2 years NO viruses.

I've only used Norton and McAfee.

McAfee is better imo.

had both, Norton slows sht down a lot. McAfee wasn't bad but AVG is just better.

if you only have spyware, you can still save programs to another hard drive - like a portable or something ---
happened to me and I recovered all my files I needed

I use Norton and I never get any viruses.
