LOL Dice-J's posts always throw me off too..

But I first saw T-Mac the year he and VC played the Knicks in the playoffs (forgot what year) but he KILLED us every game, I knew he would be special. I loved watching him pre-injury, and he would definently would have been one of the best players to ever do it, if it were not for his injuries.

He's still up there. Look at what he did in orlando. He was a offensive beast imo he was better than kobe in the orlando years.

I just don't really get why Houston seems like they are holding on to him for dear life, if what jarrod said earlier is true.

He hasn't made it out of the 1st round with Houston, and they haven't done much to get their team better.

They just need to pray Yao and T-Mac are together in the playoffs.

I agree. Sometimes he's still unstoppable on offense.

Yeah the height of his career was when he was in Orlando, the mix of athleticism, pure skill, and basketball IQ was/is sick.

But now he cant depend on his athleticism, just his IQ. Which still has him as a top 10 wing player, but he's not what he used to be.

When he wants to be he is. I just hate to see t-mac with all those back injuries. Because around 01-04 T-Mac <Censored>ted on every player in the league. He's got the length just all the tools to be the best player. And when he wants to he can still look like it.

Damn, glad this isn't true. Would hurt me to see my non-fav' Laker in a Detroit uniform.

I love T-mac, and it seems like a lot of people do as well.

I do not see this happening, and I didn't really see the Pistons getting any major players...

Billups is good, but where does he fit in? What is his value? He's old, and has been less durable each year, and he plays a very slow pace. Every year, you can see him aging right before your eyes.

Sheed's only value is in his expiring contract. Sheed's biggest problem, is that he thinks too much of himself. He is in love with his 3 point shot, which is average at best. He could score 15 or maybe even 18 if he stayed inside... But he can't rebound too well anymore. He is a nuisance and I don't see many teams wanting him.

Tay Prince is interesting, because he's "long" and athletic. He plays solid D, and can run the floor decently. To me, he has no offensive game (Pistons fans may disagree, but most of his points come on close point-blank shots, and maybe twice a game he hits a 16 foot jumper). I don't see him having as much value as Pistons fans think he has - whoever the Pistons get for him certainly won't be good enough to start.

Rip Hamilton has a great jump shot. That's it. He can't create for himself when he has the ball. 75% of his shots are coming off screens and a great pass. He's a good scorer, but his value is limited because in order for him to score, you would need to change your whole offense, and set much more screens.

The only deals the Pistons can do, IMO, is trade for a PG who is neglected on their team (Watson/Ridnour?) or a big man such as Stromile Swift. I'd be very surprised if they traded for a starter.

Interesting, I feel about the same way. The only way the Pistons will reel in a star is if they give up a lot...

I don't think they have the kahones to reel in a star... They've had consistent success with their current team, and to get a star, they'd dismantle the team. Dumars does not have the kahones to do that.

One pistons fan is losing hope.
Kinda, I don't want Dumars to rush a deal..But I do want to see some new players come regular season. And this trade talk about Billups and Sheed won't make them too happy.. Sheed I know for a fact will either play like a beast(for maybe half a game lol) then just be a <Censored> due to this talk.

Just get something done Dumars, minor or major we need a change.

I'm sorry but i dont believe you guys will make a move. I thought for sure by the draft night he would have made a move. You guys need a big change and i dont think dumars want to break up the team chemistry like that. That or he doesnt have the balls like yanks said.

And I agree, I love the Pistons and I'd root for them even if they werent my home team(as I did for Boston/Orlando/LA Lakers)

But but something needs to happen and since it won't I'm losing my fanhood for them lol. I understand what we have done is hard and really rare, but it's just not working anymore so unless Joe plans on making another shocking trade like 04 this is the last year we will be the same team, maybe we won't even make it to the ECFs..All I know is we got youth ready for more PT and the oldies are just taking up time choking.
