Pistons Take A Look At Maggette

Im sure Maggette would start over Finley at the 2 position. Finley is starting to decline, and theyve needed an athletic wing player for years now.

I agree, but come on... They should use their MLE on a center who can start rather than a SG that may start.

Finley/Ginobli/Bowen... Starting 2 of those 3 is pretty good, and then with Duncan and PArker is great.

Just they need a C.

Manu is 6th man, Bowen is getting older, and Finley wont be back

I think all teams would be happy to get a 22 PPG scorer on their team for a MLE...

I also don't get how the move won't happen? We contacted him and we are prepared to use the full MLE..

DEFENDING CHAMPS, or a team looking at a possible overhaul?

I think if he signs with Boston, thats going to be a dumb move on his part. He's a starter, and if he goes to Boston he is going to be a backup for Allen and Pierce. Because I know theyre definitely not sitting one of those two guys out.

1. Carmelo - Made the offer, they declined.
2. Davis - Rumors were false.
3. Smith - Only rumors that came false
4. Posey, Pietrus, Maggette - All can still be signed...
