ESPN - Brett Favre is reportedly feeling the "itch" to play in the NFL once again just four months after retiring, according to ESPN.com's Chris Mortensen.

Favre has communicated his potential desire to play again to coach Mike McCarthy but talks have not advanced to a substantive stage, a Green Bay source said on Wednesday.

"As far as I know, right now, Brett Favre is retired and until he tells me something different, that's what it is," James Cook, Favre's agent, said of the rumors.
Felt it coming lol. I doubt he comes back though.

Is this story ever going to end? Seriously, either come back or just shut the <Censored> up. I don't care how great you are, let the organization move on and give Rodgers a chance.

I love Favre as a player, but maybe if he's got the "itch" -- just come back as a coach.
his indecision is just hurting the Pack in the long run, and it's gotta be hurting Rodger's ego and confidence

Favre as a coach? That'd be great, haha

...and although Favre is continuing to deny all of these rumors, I just have that feeling that maybe he'll be coming back. Maybe that's why he told EA to mark him as a free agent this year in Madden? lol (oh and how about those plans on retiring his jersey on monday night football? that'd be funny if that's just about to happen and he's like.. just kidding)
