Marc Gasol To Sign 3-Year Deal With Memphis

Spanish website AS.com is reporting that Marc Gasol will sign a three-year contract with the Grizzlies.

Gasol went to high school in Memphis while his brother Pau was a member of the club.

Marc was included in the trade by the Lakers where Pau was acquired.

No i think RUdy is imo.

But i hope nobody is expecting him to be anything like his big bro. He should be solid. I believe he won mvp in his league this year. But he won't be anything like pau. He's too unathletic

Well I'm not kidding, but I guess I just have hopes for them. They do have some young players like Rudy Gay, Mike Conley, Hakim Warrick, so they're obviously not on the decline.

I think Gay, Warrick and Conley will have this team going in a few seasons. Plus they have 2 firsts this year, and cap room for FA. I think they should try to trade Mike Miller for youth.

I just somewhat doubt anyone is going to trade youth for a player like Mike Miller.. The most they'd get is a few expirings really, and maybe a 2nd rounder or something.

As for the Grizzlies, it depends on how much Conley/Gay and there picks can contribute this year, I doubt its any thing great, but they should have a solid team in a few years.

They should have kept Pau though, they could have had a line up like this:
