Not to early to predict :p

Anyone wanna make any early predictions for next year so that in 365 days we can say wow your a genius or wow wtf were u thinking.

Celtics open up as 7-2 favorites to repeat, Lakers are 5-1

Cleveland is 16/1, Chicago and Phoenix 20/1 and Portland is 25/1. Clippers are the longest longshot. 100/1 chances

Predict the NBA Championship, next years MVP, next years ECF/WCF matchups.

Predict even your teams season

MVP: Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers)
ECC - Boston Celtics
WCC - Los Angeles Lakers
Champions - Lakers

No other teams have impressed me at this point and Boston still will be the best but I think Orlando might make a run if they get Maggette. IDK. Too early to decide but Bynum will be ill next season.

I'm gonna go ahead and say LeBron finally gets his MVP
I dont think the Lakers are gonna stand pat. I think Turiaf leaves, and we sign a vet or two. some tough guys

Of course I think we win the championship and Bynum gets most improved player, and a spot on the all-star team B)

Amare plays PF, Shaq's stats wont be great, and Bynum will have better stats than guys like Chandler and Camby, assuming their both in the WC

I'd agree with that, but it's obviously way too early to tell...

And mexi, I like Turiaf! :p We can at least get rid of Mbenga, Coby Karl, Chris Mihm, & Newble first and just go from there.

I'll cuts pick the confrence finals, champs, records and awards.

ECF
Celtics over Pistons(we will be here unless Dumars makes a stupid trade)/Magic(if they can land Maggete)

WCF
Lakers over Hornets

Finals
Lakers over Celtics

League Awards:
MVP Kobe Bryant
ROTY Michael Beasley
DPOTY Josh Smith/Dwight Howard
6th Man Jason Maxiell/Travis Outlaw
MIP Andrew Bynum/Jason Maxiell
COTY Hmm

The only record I'm gunna predict will be ours(Pistons) and Orlando(there gunna be the new powerhouse in the East)

Our record is gunna depend on trades(if Dumars does any) if we stay the same then I think we will get 53-60 wins, if we make any major trades then we could end up with a worse team and have somewhere between 48-54 wins or 54-63 wins. And with Orlando it depends on how they draft, who they can sign(Magettee with MLE?) or if Fran Vazquez comes to the USA. I think they will be the team to beat in 3 years, there record could be 53-61 wins.

I like Turiaf too, but he's just not good
Ronny,Mihm,Newble,Mbenga,Karl all have to go like you said
we need tough guys. and maybe another legit player. odom might have to be on the move.
Maybe on draft day we could get something for him

Once the Cavaliers trade for Redd or another player to compliment LBJ, we are easily coming in first in the East and steam rolling on our way to the finals with LBJ getting his MVP award that he deserved from the past 2 seasons.

B)

But if the Cavaliers don't make a move, I see the Celtics and Cavs in the Eastern Conference Finals as the #1 (Celtics) and the #2 (Cavaliers) seeds. I'd give the series to the Celtics if they can maintain there bench because basically all of there bench players expire.

In the West, most likely will be the Lakers, don't be surprised to see the Spurs back in the finals with a healthy Manu instead of him being hurt in the series against the Lakers..

I'll just say Celtics over Spurs.

Honestly though, if you think LeBron's gonna be MVP, what do you think the cavs record is gonna be? (and what seed)

With the Cavs, even without a move they could be the best team in the league.. Lets not forget that they traded away half there players with a month left in the season and brought in 4 new faces. Thats hard to do in a season. With a full Training Camp and Wally getting back to his old self the Cavs could shock a lot of people. With Gibson and West developing and trying to fill the PG spot they could have a very good year. Not to mention we have great defense. Also we took the best team in the league to 7 games and nearly won, I'd say we are on the right track and could make it to the finals without a single move.

Why? The Pistons may have a totally different team next season so that moves them down a slot imo. The Cavs like elcheato said had new faces at the end of the season and were just starting to mesh together. LeBron James is LeBron James and could pull a Kobe and lead his team to the best record. Plus the East isn't that strong minus the C's,Magic and Pistons.
