Who do you think the best player in the NBA is? If you vote for other please put who the other person is. My vote is LeBron James. I'm sick of everyone saying Kobe is the best. The only reason he has the high stats is because he ballhogs so much. LeBron James is better. He is better on the inside, he has better handles, he's a better rebounder, and i think LeBron is a better defender. But LeBron just doesn't have a better outside shot than Kobe. But i feel LeBron is better. As much as i like KG, he isn't better than LeBron or Kobe, but he is the best big-man in the NBA right now i think. Lets here who everyone else thinks is the best player in the NBA.

I'd still say it's Kobe hands down. Lebron James gets way too much credit for his size, because a lot of times he charges and they never call it. And LeBron simply isn't clutch either (yeah, he's has his moments, but still). I would be worried if he was left with 20 sec for one last possession down by one. I mean, who's a better closer than Kobe Bryant? Driving ability I'd say is pretty even because Bron Bron has his power and Kobe has the finesse. And their jumpers? Ha, you can't even compare the two, because Kobe obviously has the better touch from outside and midrange.

And please, the ball hog thing? BOTH of them ballhog because they're both amazing players who are competitive as hell.

I say other: Dwight Howard. He is the beastliest big man I have seen play since Shaq was in his prime.

I say Chris Paul. Guy is just amazing. And its not just him scoring, he can pass, and has been known to grab rebounds.

LeBron James. He is all around the best player in the league. Kobe can score and play D, oh boy. LBJ can do that and more. LBJ is not a selfish player at all, he trusts anyone he has on his team, while Kobe will only pass with some talent on his team, shown by past years when he never passed, and this year he decided to pass. LBJ would easily get 10 assists per game with the LA talent. LeBron has better playmaker skills, obviously the better rebounder, he'd be the best rebounding player in the league if he spent more time on defense in the paint since he doesn't guard the PFs/Cs. LeBron went to the finals with a scrub of a team, Kobe had a 1st round elimination.

Lebron. Kobe can barely make the playoffs without a good supporting cast. Lebron made it to the ship with no supporting cast.

It's either Lebron or Kobe, but I'll say Lebron for the reasons Dice-J listed.

There's a difference. The East was weak that year. They faced the Wizards with Arenas & Butler out. They faced a sucky Nets team in the second round. I'll give them credit beating Detroit in 6 games.

Pistons are better then the Suns by far.. Cavs beat the Pistons in 6, and the only two games we lost were on game winning shots bricked by Donyell Marshall and Larry Hughes in games 1 and 2.

I wouldn't exactly say the pistons are way better than the suns, especially because that year the suns were an amazing offensive team. Against the pistons, you always have a shot to win the game because they're just a defensive team that has no real offense. And when you have a big scorer going against them, it can go either way. On top of that, the cavs are an overall good defensive team. Now if they could get past the first two rounds in the west, I'd see a possible argument. But no way can you say lebron is better than kobe because he got through the <Censored>ty east that year.

oh and try not to forget that lebron and his cavs got SWEPT in the finals that year.

The Pistons are way better.. Who cares how much of an offensive juggernaut the Suns are, they are a horrible defensive team and a college team could put up 100 on them. Pistons were considered one of the best defensive teams with the ability to score.

LeBron's team in the finals was also not healthy. He was missing his 2nd option, as sad as it sounds, Larry Hughes. He was our best defender and we had no one who could cover Parker either.

Also, LeBron by himself took the Celtics to 7 games, Kobe with way more help then LeBron is about to lose in 5 games.

skill-wise, right now is Kobe
potential-wise no doubt is LeBron

Even when i say that LeBron is even or even better than Kobe, Kobe just does stuff that's unbelieveable. stuff LeBron can only dream about doing
