Pistons Will Make Big Trade this Off-season

There will be new faces on the roster next season. Dumars said Tuesday that nothing was imminent, but a big trade was coming. He said approximately 10 teams had contacted him.

The speculation that he has talked with Denver about acquiring Carmelo Anthony has dominated non-Finals national discussion.

"I knew that once I got up from that table last week" after Saunders' firing "that I opened Pandora's box," Dumars said. "Once I said that, I knew the phones would start ringing. I knew, following that, the rumors would start. I'll just say this: We're not talking to teams about their second- or third-best players.

"My point has been if I'm going to put these guys on the market, then don't waste my time talking about guys who you don't like."

I'll believe it when I see it. Not jumpin to conclusions about what the future holds just yet.

Getting Melo is a huge mistake, IMO. Yea he has better talent then anyone on the Pistons, but the guy is a flat out awful defender, he is a selfish ball hog, he has horrible handles, he cant pass for <Censored>. He's one of the more overrated players around.. Pistons would be better off without him. He would screw up there entire defense.

The thing is the Pistons obviously want a superstar. I dont blame em, I believe Dumars will make a big trade, their getting older, and their time is shortening, he'll probably make a trade that hurts now, nut pays off in the long run.

For real, I don't get it..Why wouldn't we go after one of the best scoreres and go to players in the league, something we don't have?

IDC about our defense, we need a mix-up or we won't win anything..
