I don't think he HAS to be a ballhog or has been a majority of the time. But he knows how to win when it really counts, like in the Finals, and most of the team hasn't had that experiance yet. He's just helping out of course. He'll win at whatever it takes but if you haven't noticed he has been letting other guys, like Sasha Vujacic, bust some ass on the Celtics...

Damn playmaker u didnt have to do him like that. Haha but i also think yesterday showed the gap between players like paul pierce and kobe. Paul is a godo player future Hof but Kobe is just on another level from his ability.

Nah he is consistant mex. He consistantly has erratic games. He'll have a 20+ point game then have a few 2-8 point games. Thats consistant

yeah, the celtics struggled last night and still almost won, but so did the Lakers. Both teams had 2 players in double figures.
Why arent the Lakers given any credit? who's to say that if both teams show up, we still wont win?

Well he is like Lebron and Kobe in this series. He brings up big matchup problems for Lakers so Pierce should act like he IS the best... Because he has a Vlad guy on him and when Pierce puts his head down and goes to the basket he will be unstoppable. Lakers D is average at best.

So maybe he cant take his team by himself to the finals or close to it in lebron's case, but if he has a good game it all comes together. The Lakers should have won by alot more than that last night with how bad KG and Pierce were doing.
