He's the machine of course. Is it just me or is Odom such a tease with all his talent. One night he can look like he has potential to be the next magic. Then the next game he plays <Censored>ty like he did today.

Haha, I know what you mean. Today he just runs as fast as he can to the basket and throws a shot at the glass, tomorrow he'll spin through the defense and dunk the ball. I guess it would help if he wasn't on the bench half the game.

Kobe is NOT damaging his team when he takes over the game on his own.

Kobe Bryant is a ball hog. There's no way around it. I understand he's probably the best player in the game today as far as scoring. But when you get a rebound, and none of your teammates touch the ball for the rest of the posession, that's being a ball hog. He doesn't do it all the time, though. Like tonight, when he was doubled at half court, he passed it to Odom, who found a wide-open Sasha Vujacic in the corner. However, Kobe is a selfish player and a ball hog. He's good, he'd be worsening his team if he DIDN'T hog the ball sometimes.

However, Kobe is also cocky, and this is something that will never help the team. Kobe thinks he is immune to referees. Watch the way he reacts to a bad call. When he traveled in the 1st half? When he thought he got fouled on a jump shot? When he blatantly fouled Pierce? The guy is too caught up in his abilities. He needs to just go out and play, it's not like you're the greatest basketball ever. You're not on MJ's level, don't act like you are...

Sam Cassell is a ballhog

Agreed, he sucks. Eddie House > Rajon Rondo > Sam Cassell

Kobe is arguably the best player in the world why wouldnt you think he wouldnt have ball hoggin moments cc. Especially when his teamates play like they played tonight. Thats when he has to be a ball hog.

Kobe cockyness will help his team in the same way mj cockyness help motivate the bulls. His teammates know if they <Censored> up kobe is gonna let them know.

Kobe does have ball hog tendencies, but this season, without ANY doubt at all, it has more than benefited the Lakers team.

Someone like Cassell on the other hand, hurts the Celtics when he is on the floor IMHO

No Gasol, No Odom. It's just like Lebron James and the Cavs. Laker fans have your fun and your hope for now. And theres no way Pierce won't go for 25+ tommorow.

Well he has been a ball hog against the Celtics AND HE HAS TO BE ONE IF LAKERS WANT ANY CHANCE OF WINNING. Pau and Odom have been useless all series and I Really can't blame them. Lakers are playing an excellent Defensive team.

And man, Sam Cassell needs to be shot.... He takes worse shots then Kobe puts up sometimes.
