The Pistons and Nuggets could entertain the possibility of a trade involving stars Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups, according to a report in The Boston Globe.

Detroit is reportedly looking to acquire Anthony after passing over him in the 2003 NBA Draft.

Billups might enjoy a move to the Nuggets as he is from the Denver area. George Karl and Co. are seemingly open to the idea of trading Anthony because of his off-court issues and attitude.

I'm just saying out of all their roster Billups has to be the one they want to deal. They could make up a package or something but if they kept Billups and Melo they'd be a pretty good pair

Truth is, the Pistons would be willing to trade Chauncey Billups, and others, and the Nuggets are agreeable to listen to offers for Carmelo Anthony and others. The Pistons have point guard-in-waiting Rodney Stuckey, who took over when Billups strained his hamstring in the playoffs. An exchange of Anthony, Marcus Camby, Kenyon Martin and Chucky Atkins for Billups, Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace and Detroit's first-round pick (29th) makes the most sense (and dollars under the cap for the Nuggets) and is scary-good for both teams.

Really, I got his number...You call him though lol.

Melo's agent said that there is no truth to this, but Joe said that he has been talking to Denver and a half a dozen other teams about getting a superstar.

Joe said that if he's offering his 4 best players he don't want a teams 2nd or 3rd best he wants to get a goto allstar 1st best type of guy... And I'd like to see that.

Not quite, the scoring would only really come from 2 places. Neither Camby nor Martin are double-digit scorers anymore. They basically become what the Nuggets are now.

I agree, but if they could maybe play better(like Dyess has) then they could help us a lot. But I really only want Melo and Camby... Doubt a trade like this happens, but I would like it. And if we do something like these I'd hope for more trades to happen.
