It might make sense for the young Bobcats to make an offer to the Pistons for forward Rasheed Wallace, according to Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer.

Detroit President Joe Dumars has made it known that he isn't against dealing any of the players on the team's roster.

The Pistons fired Coach Flip Saunders last week.

Wallace's contract expires at the end next season, but he will make $13.68 million. That would make him the team's highest-paid player while also giving the team cap room next summer.

I thought I was stupid for saying this lol. I knew they would think about it... I'd say about a 32% chance Sheed ends up going there.

Wonder what they'll move him for. Not much can be offered. And they would be stupid to trade Gerald "G-Force" Wallace or Emeka for him.

It'd prolly be something like Rip(or Chauncey) and Sheed for Emeka and Gerald or JRich, I'm sure we'd give them a couple of picks too. And I think that because Larry Brown likes Rip Chauncey and Sheed a lot, not to mentio Sheed went to UNC like MJ and LB...

I wouldn't even mind if we got Felton instead of Gerlad or JRich, a backcourt duo of Felton and Stuckey would be fun to watch...But a tad too small IMO.

They won't trade Felton. He's really their only PG, Earl doesn't have much left. Plus getting G-Wall would be really hard to. Okafor could maybe go, cause he gets hurt alot, and doesn't score consistently.

I've read rumors about some trades that could happen between the two teams. Also Emeka wants a bigger role and wants more money then what the Bobcats might offer, so you never know.

a bigger role? he's still one if not THE GUY on that team.

Why trade your two best players for a good player in RIp or Billups and a terrible role model for the younger players in Sheed. Plus Sheed is a player about motivation. What motivation will he have with a Bobcats team?

That would be such a big rape. Okafor is a double-double machine, and Richardson and Wallace are huge parts of that team.

If Charlotte did that move they'd take a HUUUUUUUUUUGGGEEEEE step backwards

Let me guess you forgot that Sheed has a 13Mill EXPIRING contract and that means they will have a good amount of money to spend on GOOD FAs.. Plus say they traded Emeka and Gerald, they draft a SF and have Billups and JRich at the guard along with Sheed plus they have a nice bench(Ammo Felton May Carrol) they could be a 8 seed with that.

Actually Emeka is usually the 3rd/4th option behind Richardson, Wallace and Felton/

BUt I agree with you Maple, no way Felton, Wallace or Richardson will be involved in a trade for Sheed. Emeka might but its a VERY SLIM CHANCE, they could move him elsewhere for soo much more.

Why would you want to rebuild and get ready for an offseason? You already have a good young core, don't wreck it by trading for a HUGE distraction

Only person the Pistons would go after is Emeka and some change for maybe Sheed and someone Brown likes..Other than that IDK.

Pugz, there would be no point in the Bobcats making this trade, quit acting like it'd help them. The fact of the matter is, the Bobcats aren't rebuilding anymore. They have their core of Felton-Richardson-Wallace-Okafor. The only reason they'd pull a trade of Wallace and more for Okafor would be if they no longer think Okafor can live up to the #2 pick. They're in zero need of expiring contracts, all they need is a stronger bench and they will be a very good team. They're not trying to wait another year, this was a team that expected to make the playoffs THIS season...

Did you even know that I PICKED them to make the playoffs so you don't need to tell me that <Censored>. And you guys don't need to belive me but I've read that the Bobcats are intrested in Wallace and could offer Emeka and someone LIKE Felton or even Gerald.

Whoever wrote that is an idiot, because I can guarentee both Emeka and Felton/Wallace are leaving.

idk why there have been so many bad trade rumors lately.
