There is a rumor cirulating that u guys will trade the number 6 pick and randolph to the 76ers for reggie evans and the 16th pick

-One team that is apparently looking to move up in this draft is Philadelphia, thanks to the plethora of cap space they will enjoy coming July 1st. The Sixers are reportedly realizing that there could be very few quality unrestricted free agents available that they could realistically sign, making their precious cap space essentially useless.

One trade that is making the rounds would involve the Knicks sending Zach Randolph and the rights to the #6 pick to Philadelphia for a smaller contract, such as Reggie Evans, and the rights to the #16 pick—after July 1st (when Philadelphia’s cap space kicks in). New York would move into position to have significant cap space in the summer of 2010 (possibly to make a run at LeBron James) by unloading the 17.3 million dollars owed to Randolph in 2010/11, and would still be able to keep David Lee around.

Philadelphia would fill a big void at power forward with a 20 point per game scorer in Zach Randolph, and possibly pick up one of Jerryd Bayless, O.J. Mayo or Eric Gordon in the process, while only sacrificing the 8-9 million dollars they are expected to have in cap space, which likely wouldn’t get them very far anyway.

Still doesn't make sense. Knicks trading the 6th pick + Randolph for the Sixers???

Haha now it makes sense.

This would be an interesting trade. New York would get a very good rebounder in Evans, while trading away ZBo who has been said doesn't fit there.

If I were Philly I'd do it...well maybe, they could draft a good player at 6, and could still trade ZBo.

This is ridiculous, this better not happen. Randolph is worth way more then just Evans. If this goes down I will be HEATED. I dont care about trading down....as long as it isnt past the Kings, so we can still pick up Augustin.

This better be a rumors some sixers fan made up.

I hope this goes down. It gives us a low down presence in Z-Bo plus we could have a shot at eric gordon, bayless, mayo depending on how things goes down

I just realized that the deal cant be done until after July 1st. By then the draft will be done. And I KNOW if either Bayless or Mayo falls to us this wont happen. Maybe without the picks (which I would still dislike) but I would understand the logic behind the move. But I think we could get much more then just Evans.

Good luck with that, when the ball goes into him its a 96% chance he's gonna shoot.
