From realgm.com
The Bucks and guard Michael Redd are no longer on the same page, and it appears as though the Cavaliers could make a play for the shooter, according to The Akron Beacon Journal.

Cleveland courted Redd in free agency a few years ago, but he elected to remain with Milwaukee.

Redd averaged 22.7 points in 72 games this season and played his college basketball at Ohio State.

So they like both JO and Michael Redd? Can we be seeing another Big 3 in the East? Hmm, would be cool to watch. Even though it's the Cavs I would love to see it happen, but probably won't lol.

Cavs have no where near enough pieces to trade for both JO and Redd. Even if JO can opt out, I think he can. I don't think the Cavs have enough money to reel him in either.

Well they were offering the Big Z, someone else, and the pick for JO. So I'm sure if JO wanted a sign-and-trade they could work something out for less. But heck, I doubt it happens, I just thought it would be cool if it did.

Well they have no youth and I think trading Z for JO is a huge rip.

I agree with you here Rip. They only talent the Cavs have is LeBron. Z isnt what I would call talent, especially not for JO. And They dont have a good draft pick, so I highly doubt they get either. They'll probably bring in some more mediocre talent for LeBron to carry....again.

The Cavs are interested in just about anyone IMO.

dont mean to bump but:

New Bucks' GM John Hammond and Coach Scott Skiles both reached out to Michael Redd recently to assure him that despite rumors to the contrary, he is not on the trade block at this point, the Milwaukee Journal-Constitution is reporting.

"They called me and said they had not initiated talks about a trade and not to pay attention to what was being said," Redd said. "Out of respect, they wanted to tell me to ignore those rumors."

"It just showed me how John (Hammond) was as a person, and I appreciated that call."

Redd knows, however, that even though the team is not actively shopping him, there is no guarantee he'll be back in Milwaukee next season.

I've been told, that on radio stations from Milwaukee and Cleveland, reported that the Bucks have OFFERED Michael Redd, I'm guessing a bad contract for Wally, Damon, AV. Obviously they do it to pick up the 20 million in expirings.

Also a Cavs beat writer who knows more about the Cavs then anyone said this:

"I'm not telling you everything but I am expecting Redd to be in a Cavs uniform by this Summer, and for very little in exchange. We'll see..."

If the Cavs are able to get Redd for any of their players, no matter the combination, it will be a HUGE steal for the team.

I would like to see Lebron get some help, but at the same time it might hurt us when 2010 rolls around...
