The only way they will take Rose is if Hinrich goes, or if they deal Rose... Why draft a PG when you already have a consistent and young one? Especially when you need inside scoring very badly.

Rose-Gordon-Deng-Gooden-Noah

Hinrich-Hughes-Noci(if he comes back)-Thomas-Gray

Would be beastly.

So would Hinrich-Gordon-Deng-Beasley-Noah

I don't know why they would take Rose, they have Hinrich. They would probably move him if they did.

Beasley would make sense IMO.
They will try to package hinrich and move him somewhere. From what i read on the basketballboards their fans are not that happy with hinrich and they would rather have rose.

I don't know how you pass on Beasley though, when you NEED a inside scorer.

Gooden would make a nice role as a 6th man.

Noah/Beasley/Deng/Gordon/Hinrich

Rose/Gordon/Deng would be beastly.

All can take it to the hole or shoot it outside for a decent %.

They would still do the same about of damage with the Beasley line-up. If not more.

Hinrich + Deng for Anthony? Maybe some picks and such going both ways.

Hinrich - Iverson - Deng- Nene/Martin - Camby

Rose - Hughes/Gordon - Anthony - Thomas/Noah/Gooden - Noah/Gray

Doesn't seem too bad to me, but I don't know...

Wow Chicago! I see them takin Beasley, they need an inside scorer much more than a PG. (They have Hinrich and Duhon who are both good)

Dang Miami got #2. Seattle and Memphis at 4 and 5. :(

I hope Seattle takes O.J. Mayo. I know they have Jeff Green, but O.J. Mayo and Durant would be killer. Although I do see them taking Bayless or another pg. Bayless-Green-Durant, nice future.

They will take a PG probably. Maybe another big, but I think they are waiting for Sene and/or Petro to develop.

6th pick? I woulda been happy to get the 5th pick, but now we fall outta place to get Mayo or Bayless. I guess Augustin would be the best fit for us, hopefully we'll trade down and pick up another pick or solid player.

But Chicago SHOULD take Beasley, they need inside scoring, it would be a bad idea to stack one position when your lacking at another.

Agreed. Even though they have alot of PFs to, Thomas, Noah, Gooden, compared to their PGs which are Hinrich and Duhon. But I'd still take Beasley.

Also I'm hoping Lopez is still available for the Grizzlies, they could really use him.

I hope someway either Bayless or Mayo falls to 6, I felt the same way D'Antoni looked when they showed our logo for the 6th pick. I just turned the tv off.

You know during the NBA Draft when they showed 3 cities, Indiana, Miami, and some 3rd city? I was there in the American Airlines Arena cheering for the Heat. Was awesome! We got to shoot around on the court, we got to get autographs from the cheerleaders (HOT!) and we got to chill and I saw JWill, Chris Quinn, and Earl Barron.

Now, onto the pick. I am very happy with getting the #2 pick because we could use both Beasley and Rose. Either way, we get the player the Bulls don't get. Also, we have to keep in mind they could trade the #1 pick, unlikely though. Very excited as a Heat fan and Wade was interviewed after and shown on our big screen, so was he.
