According to wikipedia, Orlando were down to 4 names, Heat, Tropics, Juice, Magic.

I guess Magic just sounded the best.

Lmao! Juice is horrible. Tropics is more deserved for Miami and would be too much of a coincidence with the Will Farrell movie. Heat I guess was more of a fit for us too, so your right, Magic does fit best.

Clippers, I have no idea actually. Same goes for Wizards and Raptors but I'm guessing all those were fan votes as well...

Well the Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors, LA Clippers and Lakers all seem kinda weird to me.

Yea, I knew the Jazz one, but still kinda weird cause they are in Utah now.

Beavers, Bobcats, Dragons, Grizzlies, Hogs, Raptors, Scorpions, T-Rex, Tarantulas, and Terriers.

LA Lakers were originally from Minnesota, which has the most Lakes in the country. They just kept the name.

As for Wizards I can't find anything. I think they just figured Bullets was too innapropriate. LMAO.
And the Clippers, I have no idea. WTF is a Clipper? lol

A local Middle School's nickname is the Clippers. At half-court they have a little irish man with his bag pipes and stuff, with his skirt on. So maybe that's what it is?

For NBA probably. I hate the Celtics jerseys, Utahs new ones (the dark and light blue cloroed ones) are ugly as well, they should of kep those black bronze and purple ones.
