Oklamhome City Outlaws sounds amazing IMO.

I mean a Baron is like a knight right? There are knights in OKC?
Thunder and Thunderbirds sound like a D-League or College/HS nickname, just like childish.

Outlaws makes sense and sounds good.

Outlaws would be pretty sweet. They also say black and gold unis, at least the fans do. That would be cool, gonna need a 3rd color for sure though.

Eh I don't think it matters really if there are knights or not in the city. I mean you could argue that for loads of teasms.

Well most teams were made years ago. Most team names make sense though.

A Knickerbocker is a name for a descent on a Dutch family. Cause New York was a small dutch town back in the day.
Googled that BTW, pretty interesting.

Wow that is pretty interesting. The only other ones that I think are weird are the Pacers, Jazz (in Utah?), and Magic.

Pacers may have something to do with the Indy 500, that's the only thing I can think of.

The Jazz used to play in New Orleans, then moved to Utah and kept the name. (You can get Jazz from New Orleans I suppose seeing as the music culture down there)

And the Magic came from nothing at all, they had fans vote lol.

I googled the Jazz and Magic. Took a wild guess on the Pacers then looked it up and I got it right lmao.

According to Indianapolis attorney, Richard D. Tinkham, the nickname “Pacers” was decided on through a collective decision of the original investors. Tinkham, one of those investors, recalled that the nickname was a combination of the state’s rich history with the harness racing pacers and the pace car used for the running of the Indianapolis 500

The Jazz one I can understand a lot now, lol. The other 2 are so out there though. I guess "Thunder" would fall under that too.

Well the Washington Wizards, Toronto Raptors, LA Clippers and Lakers all seem kinda weird to me.

Yea, I knew the Jazz one, but still kinda weird cause they are in Utah now.

According to wikipedia, Orlando were down to 4 names, Heat, Tropics, Juice, Magic.

Orlando Juice LMAO.
I guess Magic just sounded the best.

Well the Lakers used to be in Minnesota, I could get that from the Great Lakes.

Clippers, I have no idea actually. Same goes for Wizards and Raptors but I'm guessing all those were fan votes as well...
