Seen this on realgm.com, thought it was really interesting..

If you were the Blazers and you could re-do the draft today, who would you take in the 1st round with that 1st pick?

My pick would be Greg Oden again, despite the injury you can't pass up on GO.

Same here. Plus with Brandon Roy, Outlaw, Jones, and Webster they really don't need Durant as much as they need Oden.

Same here. At the time no one knew about the injury, and even with it everyone knows he's going to be a stud. They definitely could use the stud center and the have enough Forwards like previously said. Plus, not like Durant lit it up.

Well you could also argue the case that they could of taken Horford, eh?

True but at that time who knew Horford would be so good. Either way, Oden is much more talented and if he would've played he would be up there with Horford and Durant IMO.

Well I forgot to say, who would you draft if you knew how they would turn out this season?

Well thinking on the future still Oden just based on talent. #2 and #3 would be up for grabs between Durant and Horford since the Sonics really don't need another Forward with Jeff Green. But, all in all, I think the right choices were made all around.

Probably still Oden, we don't know what he is gonna do yet.

But i was really disappointed in Oden's summer league play.

A lot of people knew Horford would be good. He was the most NBA ready player in the draft and most people knew that.

But, I'd take Oden because he has the potential to be a superstar center, and Horford is a power forward playing out of position. Portland has all the right pieces to be a good team, and as years go by they'll probably evolve into a great team.

Envolve into a great team.. If all goes right they will be a dynasty just wait and watch. If they can keep all the young players they have(and they all stay injury free) that team will have atleats 4 championships by the time Oden and Brandon Roy are done playing. I'm gunna love watching them next year and in the far future.

I totally agree. Roy and Oden will be great to watch with guys like Jack, Aldridge (don't forget he was a top 5 pick too), Webster, Frye, and others. All they are really missing is a good passing PG and they would be set for a long, long time.
