Mavs Want D'Antoni

An NBA source said Mike D'Antoni is first on Dallas' wish list to replace Johnson.

Chicago and New York also might be interested in D'Antoni, but GM Kerr said he would not grant permission to a team wishing to speak with D'Antoni.

Avery Johnson was let go as Dallas' head coach earlier this week.

Why would you want a run and gun offense? Those teams never win championships.

Actually run and gun offenses can win championships...they just don't score as many points as the other team ALL THE TIME. They could still win though.
