Tonight:
Denver vs. Golden State

Tomorrow:

This is to be a great 2 days of basketball.

If Denver wins the first game, and GSW wins the second, I believe that would put Denver as the 7th seed.

But if they win today they would be 8th seed.

Denver is half a game behind the Warriors and a full game behind the Mavericks, so I believe you are correct. If not, it would probably be a 3-way tie for those 2 spots. Can't wait to see this unravel.

I hope Denver comes out with the last spot. Do what the Warriors did last year, sneak into the playoffs. It would make things more interesting. The Warriors would maybe make the second round, but wouldn't make it past that. They're a good team, but this small ball stuff just won't hack it against this power house conference.

You really think that you're going to win a championship with that small ball stuff against the elite's? The Suns have tried and failed. The Mav's have tried and failed. What makes the Warriors any different? They got passed the Mav's who they match up well against, but against an efficient smart team like Utah they faltered. Your golden state warrior team, the players themselves said that they were happy as hell that Bynum hasn't been around the past couple of games, because it made things so much easier for them, it opened up lanes and allowed them to penetrate. Don't bank on regular season wins over other teams to get you through, remember those Kings? They always whooped the Lakers in the regular season, but did they ever beat them in the playoffs? The Nuggets last year? They beat SA during the regular season, did that help them get passed them in the playoffs? No.

Bill Russell said it himself, regular season is irrelevant, it only helps you get to the playoffs. Once the playoff's starts. It's a whole new season baby.

I never said the Warriors will win a championship. I just said small ball works. None of those teams you mentioned ran small ball like the Warriors do.

As Kobe stated: "The Warriors are what the Phoenix Suns used to be, but on steroids"

We find other ways to beat teams with big players...

My bad, I didn't know that your standards are simply set on small ball working to defeat other teams with big players some of the time rather then concerned about winning the big game. Different teams, different standards I guess.

Nuggets are now 8th.

If Warriors beat the Mavs tomorrow, they will be tied for 8th and Denver will move up to 7th.

Actually, Mavs are 45-27, Nuggets are 45-28, and the Warriors are 44-28. So if the Warriors win, there will be a 3-way tie for the 7th and 8th seed.

We got no production whatsoever from the bench. There was a lid on the basket the whole game. Good production from Martin and the Nuggets bench.

The Sixers have clinched a olayoff spot and now we are 5th in the east! We could give cleveland some trouble imo.
