Eh there is no way he can keep up with some of the younger guys in this league. And plus they would just have to put a hand in 1 spot (he throws like a QB) so he would not be able to get a clear shot off.

Well all he would have do to is move around a little. If he could really score like this he wouldn't need to play defense.

And imagine the defense on this guy. Triple team? Quad Team? Just dish it to someone else and it's an easy basket. And this guy would be one of the clutchest shooters to ever play the game.

I'd take the risk ANY day.
They wouldn't even need to double him.

And of course he would have to play D, NBA teams would take complete advantage of there being 1 man wide open every possession.

If he could match every shot with a 3 of his own, not really. He wouldn't have to play AMAZING defense at least.

Your not reading what i'm puttin down. They would just have to put a hand in 1 spot (because he throws it like a QB) and they would be able to keep up with a 32 year old guy, so don't tell me he'd be draining open shots. A real NBA player would be able to stop him easily IMO. And also did you read the NBA players he was playing with? Shareef and Dale Davis, and of course they couldn't gaurd somebody 6-1 and quick like that.

I've been reading what you have been saying and you just proved me right lol.
Ok so he's 32, so what? Who says he isn't the most conditioned player in the world. Look at Reggie Miller, he could still probably keep up with most NBA players. A few paces to the left and right will get the guy open.. And it's not like he would be shooting EVERY time they have the ball.

Mutumbo has been playing for like 13 seasons. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. This guy has never played a NBA game, find me a instance where a team takes a chance on 32 year old who has never played a professional game EVER.

The Clippers should take a chance on him....they got nothin else to hold on too :/

I was gonna say Jorge Garbajosa is an instance where this happened. The Raps signed him last year.

Yahoo! Sports:
Garbajosa #15 Forward - Center Toronto Raptors Height: 6-9 Weight: 245
Born: Dec 19, 1977 - Madrid, Spain
College: None
Draft: None

Reggie Miller could not keep up with every NBA player, the only reason he could play now is because of his shot. Which would be the same case of this guy, but putting hands all over this guy in the back court will surely alter his shot, alot more than an NBA player shooting a 3 from 25 ft out. And a few paces left or right will get him open????? Man who is playing D on this guy???? Its not hard for a defender to step to the right or left.

The street game they played was years back when Shareef was on the Hawks and when they said he threw it like a QB I'm pretty sure they were talking about the full court shots he was doing
