7 Hockey Cuts

[wavelength]

I've tried doing the void numerous times, but I can't get it to work... so if someone could check if these cuts are up to par, and if someone would so gratefully do the void for me, then thanks a lot.

there is BG on Lecavalier under both ears
Ohlund's stick is cut too deep.. maybe try cloning part to make it look smoother in transition
the last one is just horrible -- looks like magic wand/delete was used -- a definite No-No

the rest are good.. too bad they're all hockey

Yea the 1st 5 are good but the last 2 arent so good. Im likin them though overall. Good to have another person who does hockey

The last two I tried out magic wand then delete. The first five are pen tool, feathered to 0.3 pixels.

Feathering=sucks. Only feather for hair and I only go up to .2

you can use feather up to .3 if you do not have Defringe -- otherwise, use defringe up to 1..

I feather to 0.3, then defringe for 5.

that's the reasons looks too blurry then.
try only a defringe of 1

pretty much, using Defringe removes unwanted halos, and sort of smooths out the edges??

Layer > Matting > Defringe.

sorry to see that Ripping might have occurred - but let's hear from him first.. for instance, there are cuts done by our crew here that have been done on other sites as well. I, know for sure, that I've done like 5 or 6 that Filthy has done on o2.. but, if you look carefully, there are a few differences (his are normally better LOL).

yea, we'll wait for his reply. It would be ok ok if you wanted these cuts in the gallery, i just dont want to think that he ripped them...

I got them off the Canucks' media section, http://canucks.nhl.com/team/app/?service=p...ge&bcid=583. I just basically deleted the random ads and calender, then did a quick pen tool around the render... and Jarrod, when you his are normally better, do you mean me or canuckforever00?
