RealGM Staff Report -
The Miami HEAT announced Monday that guard Dwyane Wade will undergo OssaTron treatment (Shock wave therapy) on his left knee and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2007-08 season.

The procedure which is non-surgical and will take approximately 30 minutes will be performed later this week.

After the procedure is completed Wade will be limited to passive exercise for the first 30 days and after 30 days he can slowly return to basketball related activities. Wade initially had surgery on the left knee on May 15, 2007 and has been bothered by tendinitis in the knee
I said it when he got injured last season, he should have never came back. If Pat Riley and the rest of Miami's staff was smart they would have made him shut it down untill he was 100%. Now he has to get more surgires(this isn't surgery though). They better hope he doesn't start to be one of them injury prone stars who will never help his team.

They weren't all ready lol?
Not quite, maybe Memphis could fall behind them, but not likely anymore.

I wanted Memphis to plummet so they could get a higher pick.

I'm glad he is resting. We need him healthy next year and playing for nothing this season wouldn't help that. He should also think about not playing in the Olympics this year. He should think about helping his team and thinking about his future. He should rest and come back 100%.

As much as people think this is because we're tanking (it does play a role), he has been having problems with that knee all season. We needed to shut him down to build for next year, I just hope he can come back healthy and play aggressive, but to an extent. Reduce the fall down 7 times, get up 8 to fall down 5 times, get up 6.
