Thats wasn't true I seen an interview with mark and he said that he almost go into a fight with the reporter who started that rumor. Avery was alos pissed that someone said that.

Avery's response was a veiled comment about how he loved our team and how he had worked a lot with Dirk to improve his leadership and post up skills. Never did Avery deny the comment, never did he say, I did not discuss trading Dirk. I think if some on like PV had made an untrue comment about my star player, the first thing out of my mouth would be PV is a liar, he made it up, it is not true. I think we have to believe that Avery's dodge of the question indicates the story is true.

He was a friend of Mark and Avery. He has a blog and thats were it started, and in MArks blog he said that if that were true Dirk would be gone right now. And that he and Avery feel like fighting that guy...Well something along them lines.

Trust me that rumor is false. If Dirk was on the block he would be gone, there would be no "Dirk needs to be traded"...He would have been traded.

Just because you dodge questions doesn't mean that it isn't false. Like I said if Dirk was on the block he would be gone right now.
Dirk is there franchise player and will always be a Mav. He may not be the best leader but he wasn't ever going to be traded.

see avery is a tool. He is trying to build our team like the 98 spurs which he was on. He wanted to have Dirk develop a post prescence like Duncan and Robinson and look at his coaching staff. 3 players from that Spurs team in 1998.

and the thing is, avery has no idea how to run a team. he consistently gets out-coached by the better coaches in the league. Whether it's Pat Riley in Miami a few years ago in the finals, or Greg Popovich or even our last coach last year in Golden State. Whenever those people come to town, Avery falters and makes stupid mistakes which cause us the game like it did last night.

Now he might know how to coach defense, but he has no idea how to run an offense. We used to have one of the most potent offensives in the entire NBA, we used to be like the Suns, then Avery came to town and our scoring has decreased because he has no idea how to run an offense. It's been isolation all the time. Give it to Dirk and let him do it. We usually have no offensive flow because we don't really have a system on the offensive side.

Thats one reason Mark Cuban wanted Kidd....

Yea, he said he didn't put Kidd in so all his shooters would be out there and that would open things up for Dirk. But he forgot one thing, Kidd opens things up for everyone. Terry is not a playmaker and didn't bother passing to 3 guys who were wide open.
