Pistons to Sign Davis Soon

Dale Davis is very close to officially becoming a member of the Pistons, according to the Detroit News.

After waiving Flip Murray it was widely believed that Joe Dumars would like to sign Davis, who hasn't played all season.

The News has reported that Davis has agreed to the prorated veteran's minimum and that his signing is pending a physical

I like this signing, but I think Joey D should wait a few days and look at other options such as Jamaal Magloire.

Yeah in the 06-07 season if I remember correctly or the year before, and yeah hes got a built body, so he can play some nice D on the big men in the league.

We had him the last three years. We just didn't resign him this unless we needed him around this time. So he was "retired" untill we/if we needed him.

Hmm, I'm thinking the Pistons are taking a real close look at Magloire now. Cause DD was reportably taking his psyhical two days about. But still no news.

Maybe Dumars is going to make a push for Jamaal before we sign DD.
