The Panthers have released running back DeShaun Foster. Selected in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft, Foster ranks as Carolina's all-time leading rusher with 3,336 yards and 851 attempts. His determined one-yard touchdown run that included four broken tackles at Philadelphia in the 2003 NFC Championship stands out as one of the most memorable plays in team history.

we all knew it was coming, no surprise here

now DeAngelo will get more playing time :D

yeah, but why not trade him away, even if it's for a middle round draft pick - at least you get something more than NOTHING

there's gotta be something going on that we don't know, because teams aren't trading there players there just releasing them, like Dan Morgan, Alge Crumpler, and Zach Thomas could've all been traded for a great value
