His addition gives the Pistons a glut of guards – seven – and a relative lack of depth in their frontcourt. But that situation could change very shortly.

The Pistons have the option of cutting one of their spare guards and adding a big man currently a free agent. The likeliest scenario? Flip Murray, who hasn’t played in two months, could be bought out of his contract at little cost – it’s due to expire at the end of this season – and Dale Davis, who played for the Pistons last year and is free to sign with any team, could be signed as veteran big man insurance.
Straight from Pistons.com so it could be very legit.
I wouldn't mind Davis back in Detroit. And finally get to get rid of Murray.
I'd just wait a bit longer, see if anyone is bought out.

But guys read this article, it let's us know why Dumars did make this move. It actually makes a ton of sense now, kinda what I said but:

Also I wonder what number Dixon will take. He used to wear number 3, but that's Stuckey's number so..

Assuming these players get bought out I'd take Kwame or Ike Digou.
But Dale isn't bad at all I mean he is waaay better than Primoz, plus he can handle bigs like Shaq.

I hear either Dixon and/or Murray are getting bought out so they can sign a big man like the article says. They should have gotten a post player. Like Dantley was.

Wouldnt mind that at all, Flip isnt needed anymore, so buy him out and get a decent big man, which is what we REALLY need.

Wow you're an idiot. Berzec is by far better than Dale Davis...

Sure he is.
He has a better O game but we need a BIG Body just so they can stop someone like Dwight or Shaq. And there was no way in hell Primoz would do that.

Yeah you would have to watch the Pistons to know about DD. He stops all the huge guys, he puts Shaq on lockdown whenever we play him. And he will for sure do the same with Dwight.

He is a big body, Primoz wasn't.
Just cause he's not a great scorer means he's bad eh?

I would take DD over Primoz, Primoz has a slightly better O game than Dale but as Rip said Dale has way better D than Brezec and that's what we need downlow because we already have scorers in C Bills. Rip, Tay and Sheed.

My bad, Dixon will acutally wear number 8. According to pistons.com's roster.

Maybe cause 3 is half of an 8.

Lol, it's kind of easy to put Shaq on lockdown nowadays. He wouldn't have a chance of stopping Dwight, he's not nearly athletic enough...

Howards Stats That Night:

8 Points, 2-9 Shooting, 8 Rebounds, 5 Turnovers

Yeah, your right Sheed didn't stop him at all.
