MyFox Houston -
Gerald Green is telling FOX 26 Sports he has been traded to his hometown Houston Rockets for guard Kirk Snyder and a second-round draft pick.

"It's like a dream come true. Never in my life did I think this would happen," Green said. "I am on cloud nine."
WOW he has a chance to play for his hometown team for years to come. He also gets to be mentored by the player he was compared to Tmac.

I like this move, Green is a star waiting to explode. Hopefully he'll get some serious mins for the Rockets.

this makes more sense of the Bonzi Wells and Mike James trade to New Orleans for Bobby Jackson...

Yeah, I knew they were doing that to make room for a trade, was just hoping it was Artest. :(

They didn't need to make any room. Geralds contract is less thank Snyders.

Timberwolves got nothing back in this trade, Snyder isn't really that good.

Snyder is ok, he still has potential. He could really be a good defender is this league. Gerald Green wanted to leave Minnesota though, he wasn't getting playing time and he has a ton of potential that was being wasted with the Wolves. Now he's on his hometown team, he's got a great mentor in Tracy McGrady who he could be just like. I would love to see Green become one of the elite players in the league.

I love Snyder he's awesome and yes he does still have potential, I hope he can work his way into the lineup for the T'wolves.

Man there were quite a few trades.
