ESPN announced 15 or so minutes ago that the Sonics and Spurs have agreed in principle to a deal... They didn't announce any specifics except Thomas to the Spurs.

He's a big expiring, brings some toughness and rebounding from the big man spot.

If they actually do get Artest too..... wow.

Artest recently rumored to the Spurs for some expirings.

He's also been rumored to other random teams, like the Magic, Knicks and Pistons.

Also, the Kings dont really want much for Artest by the looks of things...I reckon the Spurs are out. They dont have much to give up for him now apart from Ime Udoka, Bowen, Horry etc.
