Chicago Tribune -
In Sam Smith's latest column at the Chicago Tribune, Smith brings up the point that Eddy Curry could be a viable option as the next big man that Pat Riley takes under his wing in Miami.

Riley has always had a big man to work with, from Kareem Abdul-Jabaar to Patrick Ewing to Alonzo Mourning to Shaquille O'Neal. Could Curry be next? [READ]
IDK... I think you try to do this. Maybe send Jason Williams in return with a Earl Barron or send Smush and Blount for him.

As much as I want Curry gone, I don't think that's enough for him... Despite his rebounding woes and poor defense, he is still a good scorer... He is 7th amongst centers in PPG. He is 6th in FG% also.

4th in PP48.

He is 14th in FT%!

He is 24th in blocks! LMAO! And 24th in rebounds also.

Basically, he's not as bad as people think...

I don't want him here anymore, don't get me wrong... But also, I don't want garbage for him either...

I'd take Jason Williams and a pick... I just don't see the need for Smush or Barron... They both suck worse than Jerome James... We need to help ourselves for the future - an expiring and a future pick.
