Brooking is pretty much in the exact same position as Zach Thomas, the guy is old there not going anywhere so what good is he for Atlanta, there trying to rebuild so they need to get rid of these guys also it's a good idea to get rid of Warrick Dunn cause now Norwood can start playing more.

When you think about it the MLB position will be filled with all-star veterans in the FA's

The Atlanta Falcons continued their franchise makeover in earnest on Friday, releasing tight end Alge Crumpler, quarterback Byron Leftwich, offensive tackle Wayne Gandy and four other players.

The team also announced it had released cornerback Lewis Sanders, wide receiver Jamin Elliott, linebacker Marcus Wilkins and defensive tackle Rod Coleman.
