Latrell Sprewell's yacht sold at auction on Monday and his home could be foreclosed in order to pay the $1.3 million he owes on the yacht.

In court documents, the bank said Sprewell owed $295,138 in outstanding payments plus interest on his house.

Sprewell failed to make his mortgage payments of $2,593 per month from September 2007 to January 2008, the documents said.

Poor guy. He should of just kept playing basketball.

As a Knicks fan I am a HUGE fan of Latrell Sprewell, and this is sad to see.

When all that "I need to feed my family" stuff was going on I was hoping the Knicks would bring him back....and of course they didnt.

I hope evrything works out for him.

I'm not sad for the guy at all. He's should have controlled his money better than he did. But it's hard because after getting so used with the paychecks coming in, they're not coming in anymore and that's why a huge percentage of retired players end up with nothing.
