Another player out: Stromile Swift to the Nets

League source tell the Bergen Record that the Nets are set to acquire Stromile Swift from Memphis in exchange for Jason Collins.

The deal is expected to be finalized Friday or Saturday.

Swift has fallen out of favor with the Grizzlies, but has a per 40 FIC of 12.8.

Collins, meanwhile, has a 2.4 per 40 FIC, which is amongst the worst in the entire NBA.

Dumb move by the Grizzlies, but I guess Swift was causing problems, so good to get rid of him. Collins better not stick around for long....he sucks.

I read on a Memphis Grizzles board that someone heard Kwame will be waived and in 30 days the Lakers will sign him with the Vets Min...
Don't know how true it is I kinda doubt it,But either way the Grizzles suck and will suck for about 3 more years...

Oh and Mike Miller could be next to get traded.

Yea, Mike needs to get out of there, he hasn't been hitting anything lately. I guess the Grizzlies want to build around young guys.

Also I wouldn't mind if they tanked and tried to get Beasley or someone.
