Magic Johnson, the NBA legend and part owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, met with Isiah Thomas for about 30 minutes before their teams played Tuesday night. Johnson expressed sympathy and support and made this bold claim about the Knicks: "They're going to make the playoffs. I think that they're going to be a tough eight or seven seed, too."

I agree. That conference is in shambles right now, and they have a chance. They just gotta pull together after the all-star break and make a run for it. The thing is, they have the talent to be in the playoffs, but can they combine that talent to get to the playoffs? That's where Isiah has come in, and what he has failed to accomplish.

DITTO.

The Knicks have had the talent for the past three years now to be a playoff team, and they just havent "meshed" and for the first time in many years we have a consistent backcourt.

Even though Eddy Curry and Q-Rich have been bigger disapointments more now then ever before....

its good to see Lee contributing. Jamal Crawford is having the best season of his career in MPG, PPG, FT%,and most importantly consistency. He has become a guy you KNOW will give you 20 and 5 assist AT LEAST.

its a long, hard road to the playoffs from where we're at, but it wont happen unless Curry and Randolph start becoming the low post combo I expected to see before the season started.

Still, Isiah negates any talent they might have on their roster...

Theres some truth to that.

Thomas figured out how to use Crawford better then the Bulls did.

Picked up David Lee, Balkman, and Chandler.

The problem isnt Thomas' coaching as much as its the teams chemistry.
