Who cares, CB4 deserves to be a starter. I would have taken him over KG.
I spent time and said why I think they both deserve to go in that post. Who cares? Obviously me...no?

And please don't say I am biased by saying Jackson should make the ASG. 3 "experts" also agree with me.

Charles Barkley and Magic Johnson both said Jackson should be a reserve, and Bill Walton said Jackson should start SF for the ASG (which I think is bull).

From:Espn.con
The NBA announced 14 reserves for the 2008 All-Star Game to be played on Sunday, Feb. 17 at the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans.

Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison of the Wizards, guards Chauncey Billups and Richard Hamilton of Detroit, center Chris Bosh of Toronto, Paul Pierce of the Celtics and Joe Johnson of Atlanta are the Eastern Conference reserves.

The reserves for the Western Conference are Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki, Phoenix guard Steve Nash and forward Amare Stoudemire, Hornets guard Chris Paul and forward David West, Blazers guard Brandon Roy and Jazz forward Carlos Boozer.

The starters were announced last Thursday. LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard, Jason Kidd and Dwyane Wade were picked in the East. Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant, Yao Ming, Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson were voted in by fans to start for the West.

Notable players having strong seasons who didn't make the cut included Josh Howard of Dallas, Baron Davis of Golden State, Manu Ginobili of San Antonio, Marcus Camby of Denver, Hedo Turkoglu of Orlando, Deron Williams of Utah and Jose Calderon of Toronto.

The seven reserves were voted on by the head coaches in their respective conferences. Coaches couldn't vote for their own players, and had to choose two guards, two forwards, a center and two wild cards.
Hollywood & Broadway are in let's go.

This should be a good game. I think the East will take it though.

West has such a better team than the East

and for the record, i think its f'd up that Ray Allen isnt in the game.
his stats are practically identicle with Rip, and the Celtics have a better record.

Yeah the West is so much better then the East. Some players who were snubbed for the West had the stats to possibly start or be the first reserve for the East. Like Baron Davis

Quite whining, we can't change it can we? We can talk about who got snubbed but that's not going to change anything. The coaches voted plain and simple.

Rip Hamilton on any other team in the NBA would score 15 at most.

Rip is not a good player, and there are many guards I'd take over him:

Jamal Crawford (no chance that he'd make it, but still better than Rip) , Hedo Turkoglu (he's been playing SG this year for them a lot), Ray Allen, Jose Calderon.

I'd also put Josh Smith over him, but you can't have two Hawks. I'd actually rather have Smith than Johnson.

Rip is good, but not great. Nobody on the Pistons is a star except Billups.
