Chris Webber told ESPN.com on Monday night that he will arrive in Oakland on Tuesday to formally re-join the Golden State Warriors.

"I'll be there tomorrow," Webber said via e-mail. "It's a done deal."

Man, the Warriors should deffinatley make the playoffs, but I think he would have had a better shot at a title in Detroit.

To slow. No way he keeps up with guys like Barnes and Ellis.

But good luck Webber.

True, but Detroit didn't want him....I mean Dumars.

But i'm glad and can't wait to see what he can still do.

This is not a very good move for the Warriors because he is getting old and can't play as many minutes as he used to be able to. He is also injury prone, so that could really hurt them in the long run.

How can it hurt us? We have nothing to lose with this signing. Its not like we traded anyone away for him. We just signed him for 1.2 mil and the least he can bring to us is mentoring our young players.

True, but thats basically wasting money just to be mentoring young players, that's what they have coaches for. I love Chris Webber, but he's just not that good anymore.

Well, I'm not saying he is still good. He probably can't do a lot. I'm just saying we have nothing to lose by signing him for 1.2 mil. ;]

Exactly, it will be hard for him to be a waste on this team. I know he can still pass, and his jumper is probably still pretty good, since his mobility is down. And rebounding is about timing and position, and I don't think they would be completely stopped by age.
