Sacramento Bee -
Renaldo Balkman has been offered in various deals for Ron Artest as an alternative to David Lee, but it's made no difference.

The Kings are interested in Lee and Nate Robinson.

NO! NO! NO! NO!

Nate and Lee must stay, if thats all they want too damn bad, plus Isiah PROMISED Lee he wasnt going anywhere so if he is a man of his word he wont trade him.

With that said, I wouldnt mind getting Artest, but I would much rather trade Eddy Curry instead.

Nate and Lee is giving up way too much for an aging Artest. 1 of the 2 plus a scrub like Balkman seems more reasonable.

I agree with you 100% but I'd still rather us keep Lee. Nate and Balkman would be good but I still say Curry should go instead of anyone else. Curry for Artest, not sure if it works out CAP wise, but it seems fair to me.

Yea Curry for Artest seems like it would be good for both teams, Sac can always use another good post presence.

Yea Brad Miller is aging, Hawes hasnt done much (not sure if he's injured or not) but Curry isnt working in NY he has to go, he's the only big man in the league who can't rebound but he can score in the post. Sac-town would be good for him IMO he wouldnt be in the New York spotlight. As for Artest he's a St. John's Alum and he plays hard and we could def. use his defense.

Yea, I wonder why Curry doesn't grab rebounds, at first I thought it was because of Z-Bo, but that can't be it now. And Curry and Z-Bo really don't work that well together it seems, but I think that might be because of the coaching style.

I thought they would mesh wee together since Curry is a low-post big man and Z-Bo is a high-post player but......well I was wrong. I dont think Curry even tries to rebound.

Our offensive game is a mess, if Thomas was smart he'd play a high low offense this way both of em have a chance to score 20ppg and Crawford would be a huge part as the "bail out" from beyond the arc...this way our top three scorers are scoring. Start Balkman or Chandler at the three, and Fred Jones at PG and we're set.

They would have to be stupid to trade away Nate and David.

Nate and David would just explode in Sac the Knicks would get ripped in this.

Yeah, I would love to have Curry or Lee. Either would help us out...

I understand that, by why trade away young talent for older talent? makes no sense. It should be one or the other, not both. The Kings are tryna cheat us on that one.
