The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that the Cleveland Browns intend to bring Jamal Lewis back for the 2008 season. Playing on a 1-year $5 million dollar contract, Lewis has rushed for 1,176 rushing yards and 9 touchdowns, heading into the season finale versus the 49ers.
Mitch Frankel, Lewis' agent, has reported that no negotiations have yet begun. When asked, Lewis told the newspaper: "Phil Savage and this organization, they'll talk to my agent, and if there's anything, they'll talk to me."
"So that's it." -AE
