Cavalier general manager Danny Ferry played with Andre Miller in Cleveland, during the 1999-2000 season. Who would of though that nearly 8 years later, Ferry would be in a position to trade for him? With his team struggling to 'click' on the court, Ferry apparently contacted Sixers GM Ed Stefanski about a potential swap.

Stefanski has made no secret of his desires to deal Andre Miller and the Cavs could be the best suitor. The Sixers are looking for more cap space next summer and Cleveland has some expiring contracts to trade. Sasha Pavlovic and Anderson Varejao, both key players for Cleveland this season, are Free Agents this summer. -AE

Umm... Didn't Sasha and Anderson just get new contracts this season? I know Anderson just signed a 3 year deal that the Cavs matched.

Upon further review, Granderson is right. Varejao signed an extension that carries him up to a Player Option in 2009-10 & Pavlovic is locked up for the next few seasons.

Daniel Gibson, Ira Newble, Devin Brown, Shannon Brown, Dwayne Jones, and Demetrius Nichols all are within the final year of their current deals.

I though D.Nichols was with the bulls. I'm with a trade as long as we get some draft picks.

The Cavs should look more into this. Giving them Miller gives them another good ballhandler and that means Lebron doesn't always have to create, but he still has that ability. They could have like this lineup.

C- Z
PF- Gooden
SF- Lebron
SG- Gibson/Hughes
PG- Miller

Bench: Gibson/Hughes whichever one doesn't start, and then Varajeo playing his same role.

For a trade like this to happen they would need to trade Hughes.Plus I just read that the Cavs and Larry are not seeing eye to eye and Larry may be on the block...
So don't suprised when you read that they trade Larry for Andre.

Yup and the Cavs would be good but they would still need a better SG in my opinion.

Your right, he is. I was looking at some old info when searching out contract info for the 76ers.

Bare with me fellas, I have pretty much been a casual basketball fan since the Knicks fell off the face of the Earth. Trying to get back into the swing of things.
